Cara Delevingne is putting pen to paper on her autobiography but she is said to be keen to concentrate on her younger years rather than her rise to fame.

Delevingne is putting pen to paper on a book about her younger years and has even been taking a pen and notepad wherever she goes to ensure she can scribble down her childhood memories when one suddenly comes to her.

A source said: "Cara wants to document her life before she became famous.

"She's not interested in writing about her meteoric rise in the fashion world.

"Instead she hopes to go into detail about her younger years."

Cara's former flames Michelle Rodriguez and Harry Styles look set to miss out on a mention in her new tome as she is said to be keen to fill the book with some of her "weird thoughts and anecdotes" as well as her early memories.

A source added to the Daily Star newspaper: "She doesn't want to include any big revelations. It'll just be a collection of weird thoughts and anecdotes."

As well as writing her book, Cara recently added another string to her bow when she launched her music career in a "dive" pub in New York.

The star was joined by Zoe Kravitz - daughter of the legendary rocker singer Lenny Kravitz - as she performed her first ever solo gig in the small establishment.
