The 'Anger Management' actor admits his addiction problems caused issues in his relationships with former wives Donna Peele, Denise Richards - with whom he has daughters Sam, 11, and 10-year-old Lola - and Brooke Mueller, the mother of his six-year-old twin sons Bob and Max, but also believes he is just "not good" at being wed, though he doesn't regret tying the knot.

He said: "[My addiction] didn't help. I don't know that I'm cut out for marriage to begin with.

"I'm 0-for-3. I'm just not good at it. I have amazing children as a result. I don't regret that for one second...

"Denise and Brooke, they're doing the best that they can and they're both terrific mothers and, we don't always get along."

The 50-year-old actor was diagnosed as HIV Positive four years ago and says the news has brought him closer to his famous father Martin Sheen.

In the second part of his sit-down interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz, which airs today (12.01.16), he said: "I don't want to say it's specifically changed our relationship but something happened with he and I. We are such better friends than we've ever been.

"We don't judge each other. [It's] nothing but fun when we hang out. We don't agree on everything, obviously. I mean what son and father do? He's a special cat. And I'm really lucky to have him."
