Peter Dundas, the designer of the gown which the 30-year-old star wore when she married Russell Wilson at a glitzy ceremony in Peckforton Castle in Liverpool, England on Wednesday (06.07.16), admits it was tough getting the design perfect for his "dear friend" but insists it was worth it in the end.

He told PEOPLE Style: "Ciara is a dear friend so making her dress was a labour of love."

Meanwhile, the happy couple have been joking about their flourishing sex life now they have tied the knot.

In a Snapchat video, Ciara said: "So, baby, you know what we're doing tonight."

To which Russell replied: "From what we did last night, I'm gonna do it multiple times."

The Seattle Seahawks player revealed the couple's decision to abstain from sex whilst at church in San Diego last summer.

He said at the time: "[Ciara] was on tour, and I was looking at her in the mirror, and God spoke to me. He said, 'I need you to lead her.' I told her, 'What would you do if we took all that "extra stuff" off the table, and just did it Jesus' way?'

"I said to her - and she completely agreed - 'Can we love each other without that?' If you can love somebody without that, then you can really love somebody.

"I ain't gonna lie to y'all now - I need you to pray for us. I know y'all have seen her on the screen. If there's a 10, she's a 15."
