The brunette beauty - who is best known for her starring role in the 'Fifty Shades' movies - has rubbished the suggestion that she was trying to observe Angelina's reaction to the the speech of Jennifer, who was previously married to Angelina's estranged husband, Brad Pitt.

Appearing on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', Dakota said: "Truthfully, I don't think that I was really looking at her.

"If you look really closely at the angle of my eyes, they're kind of, like, over here ... [looking at] the 'Stranger Things' table. And I really love 'Stranger Things'."

Dakota, 28, is currently dating Coldplay star Chris Martin.

And her father, Don Johnson, recently heaped praise on his daughter's beau's talents.

He said: "He's a lovely guy. I've met him and you want your kids happy, no matter what shape it takes.

"That's the goal, that's the key. He's a very talented and gifted musician. I've seen them in a concert at a small venue called the Troubadour in Los Angeles when they were first coming out and that was a memorable moment.

"I knew right then he'd be good for her. I said 'Oh you know, that man has got something going on'."

Don also revealed he has promised to never watch his daughter in the racy 'Fifty Shades' movies.

He said: "I've never seen even a frame of any of them, I promised her I wouldn't see them."
