Daniel Craig has reportedly agreed to play James Bond one more time.

The 49-year-old actor - who has portrayed the spy in the franchise since 2005 - caused a stir last year when he said he'd rather "slash his wrists" than reprise his role as the suave fictional character, but it looks like he may have had a change of heart as, according to the New York Times newspaper, he's agreed to look into the script.

However, if the hunk does decide to walk away from the film series, there will be plenty of people willing to take his place as including Tom Hiddleston, Aidan Turner, Tom Hardy, Damian Lewis and Idris Elba have all been linked to the role.

The details surrounding the film are being kept tightly under wraps for the time being but it was announced last night (24.07.17) that the next instalment will hit cinema screens in November 2019, although it's believed it's currently untitled.

The tweet, posted on the franchise's official Twitter account, read: "James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world."
