Daniel Radcliffe says he like planning romantic gestures.
Radcliffe has been dating Erin Darke since 2012, and while he likes to plan these romantic moments, he says admits that he sometimes ruins the element of surprise.
Speaking to Marie Claire magazine, the actor said: "I was going to fly to New York to surprise her once, but then I kind of ruined my own surprise the night before because I was on the phone to her and she'd had a terrible day and was in a bad mood and I wanted to make it all go away.
"I just went, 'Guess what? I'm going to be there tomorrow, we're going to see each other'"
Radcliffe met Darke when they worked together on Kill Your Darlings, which hit the big screen last year.
The couple have been together since October 2012, but have kept their relationship very private.
As for Radcliffe, he will be back on the big screen later this month as he teams up with Juno Temple for Horns.
And we are going to be seeing plenty of his next year as he has already completed work on Trainwreck and Frankenstein.
Frankenstein is based on the Mary Shelley novel, and will see Radcliffe star alongside James McAvoy.
He could well be returning to a magic role, as he has been linked to a part in New You See Me 2.
