The singer was invited by Activision to head down to London's Truman Brewery today (22.10.15) for a chance to live out his rock star fantasies and destroy a television in the style of hellraisers such as The Who's Keith Moon and former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

He posted a video of himself hurling the old school TV out of a giant amplifier - created to replicate a hotel window - on his Instagram account, and he captioned the short clip: "So I just got to do this! #guitarhero (sic)"

Danny wasn't the only celebrity to get a lot of glee from traumatising a telly.

TV presenter Laura Whitmore - who will be at the MTV EMAs in Milan, Italy this Sunday (25.10.15) - loved getting to play at being a wild rock chick and took to her own Instagram account to post a photo of the carnage along with the caption "just threw a telly off a building".

'Guitar Hero Live' is released on Friday (23.10.15) and is the first new instalment in the music simulation franchise for five years.

The title boasts a new guitar controller for play, two game modes 'GH Live', which allows you to play in fictional bands and impress your audiences to become a rock god, and 'GH TV', the world's first playable music video network.

Gamers can rock along to 240 tracks straight from the box.

'Guitar Hero Live' is available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One as well as iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
