David McIntosh has admitted that his split from fiancée Kelly Brook elft him "hurt".
The Celebrity Big Brother and former Gladiators star confesses that he was left devastated when the time came to part from the "love of his life".
Despite their recent reunion, David now insists his main priority isn't on their rekindled relationship, and will instead focus all of his energy on himself.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper David said: "I'm not laughing or joking about what happened.
"I was a serious person in a serious relationship - and it hurt. But now I'm doing everything for myself."
David also revealed that the two are no longer planning on tying the knot, and was concerned by the fact that Kelly no longer follows him on Twitter.
"Did she actually unfollow me?
"That's something I'll have to check. Maybe she's broken up with me again...
"But no, we're not planning the wedding now. After the recent turn of events we are taking it slow."
