Demi Moore keeps "breaking down in tears" over her youngest daughter's problems.

Demi Moore keeps breaking down in tears of guilt over her daughter Tallulah's recent admittance into a rehab clinic.

The 51-year-old actress - who spent time in rehab in 2012 for anorexia and prescription drug abuse after splitting from husband Ashton Kutcher - is said to be convinced she has passed her own problems down to 20-year-old Tallulah after the blogger checked into The Meadows Center to seek help for alcohol and drug abuse last month.

A source said: "Talullah is making progress but Demi is in pieces.

"She's convinced she's passed her own problems with drugs and alcohol on to her daughter.

"Her eldest daughter Rumer is really worried about her mother and is trying to help her deal with the shock. She keeps breaking down in tears."

Friends are said to be rallying around Demi - who, as well as Rumer and Tallulah, also has daughter Scout, 23, with ex-husband Bruce Willis - to convince her she has done the right thing in urging her daughter to seek help.

The source added to Britain's Grazia magazine: "Everybody around Demi is telling her she did the best thing by convincing Tallulah to go to rehab but she can't shake her feelings of guilt.

"At the moment, all she can do is support Tallulah and hope for the best."
