The 'Voice' star shares custody of her Kingston, nine, Zuma, six, and Apollo, two, with her ex Gavin Rossdale, who she split from in August after 13 years of marriage, and admitted that not having the boys full time is upsetting.

She told USA Today: "I see my kids half the time now. That, to me, is devastating. At the same time, I've been able to recover the way I have. ... I know that things are going to keep unfolding and evolving, and I have faith that everything's going to get better and better."

And while Gwen would love to go on tour with her new album, 'This Is What the Truth Feels Like', she doesn't think it would be fair to her sons.

She said: "I have three kids, so it's never going to be like it was before, a real tour. I don't see how I can do that, with them at school.

"I'd feel bad about [touring during summer vacation]. 'So now you're going to give up your whole summer so you can sit on a bus while I sing songs?' "

Meanwhile, Gwen is now dating country music singer Blake Shelton -whose marriage to Miranda Lambert ended last year - and says he saved her following her heartbreak over her split from Gavin.

She told Refinery 29: "I think that when you go through what I went through, or what I'm still going through, you think you're hopeless. You don't know what's going to happen. You panic. It was a really super-unexpected gift to find a friend, somebody who happened to be going through the exact same thing as me, literally mirroring my experience. I don't think it's an accident that that happened. It saved me."
