The Saturdays star - who was known as Frankie Sandford before tying the knot with retired soccer player Wayne Bridge in July 2014 - can't understand the outcry over her bandmate Una Foden reverting back to using her maiden name, Healy, in her professional life.

Speaking about the controversy over her pal, who wed rugby player Ben Foden in June 2012, Frankie said: "There's been such a big deal made about Una reverting to her maiden name and I don't get it!

"She's still got her married name in private but as a solo artist, she's just using Healy because that's what everyone knew her as before.

"If I went solo, I would probably just be Frankie."

However, the 27-year-old singer - who began her career as a member of S Club Juniors when she was just 11 years old - insists she has no interest in going solo because she is too busy with other things and would feel uncomfortable going on stage alone.

She added: "I'm not tempted to go down that route any time soon as I'm enjoying doing different things now. I haven't performed on stage on my own in years - I'd find it weird not being with the girls."

One of the things the brunette beauty - who has sons Parker, two, and eight-month-old Carter, with Wayne - has been busy with is a mystery project for Thomas Sabo jewellery.

She said: "Last Wednesday I did a really fun photoshoot for Thomas Sabo and I'm excited for everyone to see it.

"I've always been a huge fan of Thomas Sabo jewellery so I'm so chuffed to be working with them. Hopefully I'll be able to tell you more about it in a couple of weeks' time."
