The McFly drummer and his wife Izzy welcomed their first child, daughter Lola, into the world in January, and the 'All About You' hitmaker loves every aspect of fatherhood, even the not-so-pleasant sides.

He said: "There was a particularly dirty nappy the other day which I didn't love so much, but it's really good.

"She did throw up on me the other day, but I didn't mind because I love her, every day is exciting. I'm just loving every minute of it. Every day is special."

Harry knows if he needs any parenting advice he can always turn to his bandmate Tom Fletcher - who has sons Buzz, two, and Buddy, nine months, with wife Giovanna - for help, but even then he thinks being a father to a little girl is a very different experience to raising boys.

Asked if he asks Tom for advice, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Yeah, a bit. He's two down now so he's old hat at it. But you've got to feel it out yourself, he's got two boys and I've got a little girl, so it's a bit different."

Harry, 30, recently admitted he wants to have at least three children - but his wife isn't so keen.He said: "Izzy used to say she wanted three or four children and I was like, 'No way.'

"Now Izzy is like, 'Just one more' and I'm saying minimum three. Being a dad just feels right.

"It feels quite natural. It is the best thing ever."

Izzy suffered a miscarriage before falling pregnant with Lola thanks to fertility treatment after the couple - who married in 2012 - struggled to conceive naturally, and Harry admits it's tough for his wife to talk about.

He said: "It really is so much harder for Izzy to go through. It's a very dark place.

"During the whole thing my mum said to me, 'You've been very lucky in life but this time you may have to be a bit more patient.' But I still feel very lucky."
