Harry Styles and Sir Mick Jagger have become unlikely friends.
The One Direction member was invited to join Mick at a party for the band during their recent tour, and the Rolling Stone is said to have "taken a shine" to Harry.
Harry StylesHarry has in the past already made it clear he's a big fan of Mick's work, and following the event where they met, Mick described him and his fellow bandmates as "lovely young lads."
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a source explained: "Harry made it clear he was a huge fan of Mick but never expected he'd take any notice. But people kept telling Mick how much Harry looked like a younger version of him so he started to investigate One Direction.
"Mick's not a massive fan of their music because he's a rocker to the core, but he thinks they're lovely young lads and took a shine to Harry.
"He invited him to a special party during the Stones' tour and they instantly hit it off."
Thrilled with his new friendship, Harry now regularly catches up on the phone with Mick.
The source continued: "They swapped numbers and now regularly phone each other just to chat. Harry can't believe it.
"It's very much a friendship. Mick isn't trying to be a mentor or anything like that, which is why Harry likes him so much."
