The 'Night Changes' hitmakers have confirmed they will be taking an extended break from music next year and the 21-year-old singer is reportedly keen on becoming an Unicef ambassador and reaching out to deprived children in Africa and Asia.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Although Harry will be spending his time off writing and auditioning for movie parts, he also wants to give back to the youth.

"He knows he is incredibly privileged to live the lifestyle he does but Harry is determined to do good with his spare time."

And Harry isn't shy of doing charity work. Earlier this year, he took time off from the band's 'On The Road Again' tour to meet children from the Lalela Project whilst in Cape Town, South Africa.

A source said at the time: "Harry decided to go to the Lalela Project all by himself and he really impressed the kids and workers there."

Meanwhile, an insider previously claimed the 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go' singer has set his sights on Hollywood during the band's break.

They said: "Harry is off the leash now in terms of his film career. He is moving to LA for good and giving his dreams a real chance of success. There he can mix his music career and work with producers while holding movie meets."
