The 'EastEnders' star - who plays Lauren Branning in the BBC One soap - gave birth to baby Ella in February 2015 and has admitted she wants to "sort [herself] out" by getting her shape back.

She said: "I've felt a bit down recently.

"I felt like I had a baby and I should be sorting myself out, but I'm not."

Despite feeling low, the 23-year-old stunner insists she loved winning the Sexiest Female prize at the Inside Soap Awards earlier this month after beating off competition from Hollyoaks' Jennifer Metcalfe, Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson and Coronation Street's Kym Marsh.

Speaking to Reveal magazine, she added: "It feels really good, I'm not going to lie."

The star insists that while some may feel "embarrassed" by the title of the gong, she was quite teh opposite.

She said: "Most people pretend they're embarrassed by it, but I f***ing love it!"

Jacqueline's 'EastEnders' alter-ego returned to the soap in May and while she hasn't had a huge storyline since her comeback, the brunette star recently teased fans they will soon find out why her on-screen former fiancé Peter Beale (Ben Hardy) didn't return to Walford, too.

She said: "You're going to find out actually quite soon.

"That's what everyone's been saying. Peter's just gone and she's going out with his brother, why?

"It starts to unravel and you kind of start to think, 'OK this is why, this is what happened.' It's interesting."
