James Jordan is "over the moon" to be returning to 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The professional dancer adored his stint as a housemate in the summer 2014 series of the fly-on-the-wall contest and is thrilled to have been invited back for the new All Stars V New Stars show for a second time in the famous abode.

Speaking before the launch of the show last night (03.01.17) about speculation he was returning, he said: "Put it this way, if I was to be going in again, I would be over the moon because I loved it the first time around and I love the show."

But James will be hoping for more hygienic housemates this time around as he was appalled by the poor habits of his fellow contestants last time.

He said: "The way some people live I find astounding. Some people went a long time without having a wash or a shower or even cleaning their teeth, which I find terrible.

"We got given a Hoover once a week for half an hour. I used to love it when the Hoover came."

And the 38-year-old star - who is married to fellow professional dancer Ola Jordan - thinks the key to enjoying the experience and not being damaged by it is to not take it particularly seriously.

He said: "I loved it. Some people come out of 'Big Brother' and have to see a psychiatrist but I don't take myself too seriously.

"I love winding people up so the show was made for me.

"It makes me laugh how people come out of shows like that and say, 'I found myself in there'. If you don't know yourself after 30 or 40 years of age, you've got a problem."

Though he was greeted by cheers last night, James was booed on his way into the house on his first stint, and admits that made him miss his wife a lot.

Asked if he missed Ola during his original time on the show, he told OK! magazine: "Yes but it was more that when I was being booed as I went in, I just wanted reassurance.

"I just wanted Ola to say to me, 'Don't worry, you're doing fine.' Not getting that was hard."
