The 35-year-old Hollywood hunk - who is best known for starring as Christian Grey in the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movies - has revealed that when he was a teenager, he starred in an am-dram production in which he wore a fake beard.

But as a late bloomer, the actor tried to make himself look older when he went to a party and so he stuck some of the beard on his private parts "just in case he got lucky".

Speaking on 'The Graham Norton Show' on Friday (19.01.18), Jamie said: "I was quite small and wasn't hairy at all - was 15 and looked seven.

"For my role, I had bits of a black wig glued to my face for a beard and I decided to keep it for the party for I would look older.

"I also decided to cut up the rest of the wig and glue it to my private parts just in case I got lucky.

"I didn't get lucky and removing the bits of wig ripped out the very small amount of natural hair I had down there.

"It was a physically and emotionally painful experience."

The 35-year-old actor is reprising his role as Christian Grey in the third installment of the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' franchise this Valentine's Day.

But an insider recently claimed that Jamie won't be flashing too much flesh in the new movie.

A source recently said: "There was hope that he would go all the way for the finale to encourage greater audiences, but it's gone the other way.

"He will bare his bum but editors made sure Jamie doesn't show a millimetre of his privates."
