Jennifer Aniston put together an Irish-themed bachelorette party for her friend and former co-star Courteney Cox.

The actress is said to have hosted the party for her best friend in Beverly Hills, inviting 11 of her closest friends to celebrate including Johnny McDaid's mother Pauline - her future mother-in-law.

A source revealed to The Sun newspaper: "Jen went all out and had decorated the dining table with green and white bouquets, hand-made mint chocolate truffles and green velvet cupcakes, green and white napkins with shamrock place settings and Celtic charm champagne glasses."

Themed treats were said to have been enjoyed by guests at the exclusive event including Guinness chocolate cheesecake, and Johnny even stopped by to make sure his future wife was having a good time.

The source added: "Johnny even made an appearance at the end of the meal."

Courteney and her husband-to-be met through Ed Sheeran, and sparked rumours that they'd already tied the knot earlier this year when Johnny was spotted wearing what looked like a wedding band on his ring finger during a romantic walk with Courteney.

Meanwhile, Jennifer's hinted previously that she thinks her friend should enjoy being engaged and not rush into anything.

"There is something to enjoying the engagement period I have to say, whether it's three months, one year, two, three, four, five years, who knows, enjoy it. There's no rush." Jennifer said.
