Jessica Alba thinks it is important to take time to "complain about her husband".

Jessica Alba You've got to have the girls' night out to complain about your husband or whatever it is.

Alba currently starring in the movie  'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' has children Honor, six, and Haven, two, with spouse Cash Warren and she thinks it is vital for parents to take time out to be with friends so that domestic life doesn't become a burden.

She told Self magazine: "You've got to have the girls' night out to complain about your husband or whatever it is.

"You have some fun, then you can go and enjoy the work, and you can take pride in it instead of it depleting you and being a burden."

Jessica - who turned 33 in April - admits she had a "freak out" when she reached the age of 30, but now feels happier than ever.

She said: "I had this 'Aaagh!' I'm not in my 20s anymore! What does it all mean?' kind of freak-out.

"[But] I feel much better at 33 than I did at 23, even than I did at 30."

The stunning star has an enviable figure, but she hates exercising as she finds it "boring".

She said: "I hate working out. It's boring! I really only did it when I had a job that was physically demanding. But from age 17 until I was 27, all I did were movies that were physically demanding--so all I did was work out all the time!"
