The 'I'd Do Anything' winner has stalled her nuptials to her fiancé Simon Booth because she hates the fact her dad Marty, who died from kidney cancer, won't be there to walk her down the aisle and give her away on her big day.

Speaking on 'Loose Women' this morning (14.01.16), she said: "I'm engaged. I've been engaged for four years now. I think the thing is with me is that it's hard to plan it and that's because a lot of people who I want to be there, like my dad, won't be there. My dad won't be able to give me away because he won't be there. I don't like to face reality really. I've got my best mate but I don't want to face that big day."

However, her dad was there to see her get engaged four years ago - even though the special day didn't go to plan.

She said: "I sadly lost my dad after I got engaged but I'm glad he got to see that, I really am. The actual engagement itself, Simon planned this whole church in Dublin, because I love Dublin, it's where St Valentine is apparently buried - I don't know I haven't checked - and he got the choir to sing our song and then I was on tour with John Barrowman and I got the call to go to Australia, so he couldn't propose. It got cancelled."
