John Legend surprises visitors at St Pancras International

The 'All of Me' hitmaker arrived into St. Pancras International station via the Eurostar and headed straight for the Yamaha piano, which is available for anyone to play, and performed a number of his hits, much to the delight of onlookers.

After sitting down at the instrument - which was donated by Sir Elton John last year - fans flocked around John to take pictures as he sang 'Ordinary People', 'All of Me' and 'Surefire', before he exited to a waiting car after his 10-minute set.

The 38-year-old singer - who has 11-month-old daughter Luna with wife Chrissy Teigen - had teased the performance on Twitter before he arrived into the station.

He posted: "Arriving at London @StPancrasInt on @EurostarUK. Do they still have that piano there? (sic)"

John is in London to promote his European tour, which includes UK dates in September and goes on sale at 9am on Friday (31.03.17) at livenation.co.uk.

The short performance was uploaded as a live stream to promoter Live Nation's Facebook page.

The singer recently admitted having a family has changed his songwriting.

He said: "I've grown up a lot in the last twelve years and had a lot more life experiences. Getting married and having a baby have added new perspectives and depth to the subjects I sing about too. Just from living in the world and seeing more contemporary issues have added new layers to my music which weren't there before."
