Jonah Hill admits it was awkward sitting next to his mother at 'The Wolf of Wall Street' premiere, especially during a scene where he has his manhood out at a party.

Hill plays debauched stockbroker Jordan Belfort's sidekick Donnie Azoff in Martin Scorsese's Oscar nominated movie and he found it uncomfortable having his mother Sharon Lyn Chalkin watch a scene when he takes his manhood out and masturbates after seeing Margot Robbie's character Naomi Lapaglia walk into a party.

Talking on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', he explained: "Yeah, she sat next to met at 'The Wolf of Wall Street' premiere ... it's all fun and games till you pull your d**k out of your pants!

"She's like alright, 'I think I think I've had enough of your body of work.' "

The 30-year-old star - who took a pay cut, receiving a cheque of just $60,000 for his performance in the movie - shares a close relationship with his mother and took her to the Oscars in March this year where he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor prize for his performance in the film.

Although he missed out on the accolade - which went to Jared Leto for his part in 'Dallas Buyers Club' - his performance has received glittering reviews from critics.
