The 'New Slaves' hitmaker, who has 22-month-old daughter North with wife Kim Kardashian West, is reportedly very involved in their child's day-to-day life.
A source close to the 37-year-old rapper said: "He's very strict. He thinks that structure is important for children, and he tries to spend as much time with North as he can."
Kanye already believes his daughter will follow in his creative footsteps.
The insider said: "He truly believes that his kids will be gifted, since they come from him and Kim."
Meanwhile, North is said to have baby fever since her aunt Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to her third child, Reign Disick, with boyfriend Scott Disick, in December and is eager for her parents to give her a sibling.
A source said: "The second Reign came around, North was in awe. She just can't leave him alone."
The toddler enjoys pretending to babysit the little boy with his older sister Penelope, two.
The source told US OK! magazine: "They take turns checking on him, and when they hear him cry, they run to his crib with concerned looks on their little faces. It's so cute.
"Kim has begun asking North if she wants a little brother, like Penelope has, and she gets so excited. She keeps asking her mother for a baby."
