The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star has insisted she still sees the 65-year-old former Olympian - who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition - as a "father figure".

She said: "I know she's Caitlyn now. But she's still my father figure [in the same way that] single mothers can also take on both roles. We want her to be as happy and free as she needs to be."

And the 31-year-old beauty believes the family have been incredibly "un-judgmental" since Caitlyn announced she was a woman.

She added: "I think the best thing about all of us is that we genuinely give unwavering amounts of love and support and are so un-judgmental but always so supportive and encouraging, no matter what we do.

"I think we're a real family, and we show that people have ups and downs and that people are going to make mistakes, go through different journeys, have highs and have lows."

And despite Caitlyn not being her "blood", Khloé - who still refers to the 'I Am Cait' star as 'Bruce' - says she will always "stand by" her stepmother and her decisions.

Speaking before Caitlyn unveiled herself on the cover of Vanity Fair, she told Women's Health magazine: "Bruce isn't our blood, but he's committed to our family, so we're going to stand by each other. He's gonna stand by us, we're gonna stand by him."
