Kim Kardashian West is embracing her "slower life".

The 36-year-old beauty retreated from the spotlight after being robbed at gunpoint in October, and despite initially being too "shocked or traumatised" to do very much, she has enjoyed having a break to spend quality time with her and husband Kanye West's kids, three-year-old North, and Saint, 13 months.
A source said: "Taking time off after the robbery has really changed Kim for the better.
"She initially was just too shocked and traumatised to deal with anything but her kids but as time went on she realised she actually loved her slower life.
"She feels very grateful that she has been able to spend the past few months just focusing on North and Saint. Kim thinks they are growing too fast and has enjoyed spending more quiet time with them."
Despite sharing a sting of family photos on social media in recent weeks, insiders think Kim's marriage to Kanye - who was hospitalised in November after suffering a breakdown - is still under strain.
A source told Star magazine: "Neither of them are in a happy place right now.
"The only thing that might keep them together is the kids."
Another source added: "Kim doesn't want to stay married. She's being a supportive wife. She cares about Kanye and feels relieved he's getting the help he needs, but she's felt trapped for a while.
"Kanye's behaviour took a huge toll on their marriage."
Kim recently revealed she feared she would be shot in the back during the robbery.
In a clip for her reality TV show, 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', which returns to E! in March, Kim can be seen telling her sisters about her thoughts during terrifying incident.
Kim said: "They're going to shoot me in the back. There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it."
