The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star admits she finally understood what her mother Kris Jenner went through to bring her and her siblings into the world when she gave birth to her own daughter, North, now three.

She said: "Oh my god, when I was giving birth to my daughter I looked at my mother and said, 'You deserve a f***ing medal. You did this six times?!'

"I understand her love for her babies more now, because I'm so obsessed with mine."

The 35-year-old television personality also praised her husband Kanye West - with whom she also has nine-month-old Saint - for being a "hands-on" dad.

She told Wonderland magazine: "He's hands-on, but he's not a night guy. [I find him asleep on the bed and] I'm like, 'That's not how this is supposed to go!'"

Family is very important to Kris and she recently revealed she tries to finish at 5pm every day so she can spend time with them.

She shared: "Some days that is more successful than others! I'm so lucky that my kids all live nearby so we are always spending a lot of time together.

"I love to have family dinners, barbecues or movie nights with my grandkids. A lot of the time we're all moving at a million miles a minute, so it's important to slow down, relax and enjoy the greatest pleasures in life: my wonderful friends, my amazing children and my beautiful grandkids."
