The 60-year-old reality TV personality revealed recently that she had a desire to revert to her former surname no she is separated from her ex-husband Bruce, who is now living as a woman called Caitlyn Jenner.

Kris has now made a U-turn on her moniker switch out of respect for her two daughters with Brice - 20-year-old Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, 18.

Speaking to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie 'O' Henderson on their KIIS 1065 Sydney radio show, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' matriarch said: "It happens to be two younger girls who have an amazing dad and I think I'm going to stay right where I am. It sounded good for a minute, but I went, 'You just have to respect the relationship of the entire family.' "

Kris added: "I am too busy these days to worry what my last name is."

The revelation comes after she admitted that she wanted to return to being called Kris Kardashian in a deleted scene of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', which aired in May.

In the segment, Kris' daughter Khloe Kardashian reveals her distaste for the idea, but Kris responds: "I was that before you were that. I was the original Kardashian."

Khloe, 32, doesn't buy it saying: "I don't care if you were that, that's bizarre. Why don't you go back to your maiden name? Don't you think that's insulting to your two daughters [Kylie and Kendall Jenner]?"

Kris was born Kristen Mary Houghton and then married late attorney Robert Kardashian - who died in 2003 - and taking his surname.

After divorcing Robert in March 1991 she went on to marry US Olympian Bruce Jenner in April of the same year and took his name.
