The 36-year-old television personality found it "really hard" to cope with the backlash she received following the horrific ordeal, which saw her held at gunpoint in the French capital last year, and the star's 61-year-old momager has advised her to seek help to ensure there are no mental repercussions later in life.

Speaking on Sunday's (26.03.17) episode of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', the raven-haired beauty said: "It really is hard when people don't treat you like you're human and you're going through such a raw experience. I even saw a comment that someone wished I died that night ... It just really sucks when you're getting judged by the whole world."

To which the Kardashian/Jenner matriarch replied: "I really think you should see a therapist. So it doesn't creep up on you three months from now."

Although Kris advised the 'Selfish' author - who has three-year-old daughter North and 15-month-old son Saint with her husband Kanye West - to take action to help her, she also told her to do anything she wants to ensure her and her family are "safe".

She added: "You have to do whatever makes you feel safe. You just have to be careful."

Although Kim has admitted she has tried her best to not let the incident affect her, she hopes she doesn't keep it locked up to the point she "snaps".

She said: "I'm trying to not let it get to me. I hope I don't snap."

Meanwhile, Kim's younger sibling Khloé, 32, has praised her sister for being a "strong, strong woman" throughout the attack, and acknowledge she will have an "incredibly long journey" ahead to overcome the ordeal.

Speaking previously, the golden-haired beauty said: "Kim is such a strong, strong woman, but having a gun held to your head not knowing what's going to happen to you will f**k you up.

"This is going to be an incredibly long journey for her."
