The brunette beauty has admitted she does "really like Sarah" and found the Girls Aloud band member to be "lovely" when they worked with one another on 'Coronation Street' two years ago, although she thinks the 35-year-old singer made some "bad choices" during her stint on 'Celebrity Big Brother' this year.
Speaking about the 'Something Kinda Ooh' hitmaker in her column for OK! magazine, the 41-year-old actress said: "I've got to say, I really like Sarah. I've met her quite a few times... I've always found her to be lovely.
"Has she made some bad choices? Perhaps. "
And the longstanding soap star - who portrays Michelle Connor in the programme - thinks Sarah will "cringe" when she watches herself in the Channel 5 reality show.
She added: "Now she's out and has time to watch it back, I think she might cringe slightly. But she's a fun-loving girl and always has been."
This news comes after Sarah ditched her ex-boyfriend Aaron Lacey, who she has claimed she had only been dating for one month prior to entering the infamous Elstree abode, and sparked a romance with fellow housemate Chad Johnson.
However, Sarah has insisted the pair never enjoyed a steamy sex session in the house, although they did "grope" one another under the bed sheets.
Speaking previously, she said: "We haven't done the deed- we wouldn't do that on TV, I'm paranoid my mum's watching.
"We were kissing. I can't believe people have been saying that, how are they twisting that? We haven't had sex.
"We've had a grope, he has a semi every morning, let alone with me giving it a rub."
