Liberty Ross has received "more than half" of the marital assets in her divorce from Rupert Sanders.

The brunette beauty has had her divorce from the filmmaker - who cheated on her in 2012 with Kristen Stewart - finalised and, according to website TMZ, she received a very generous settlement.

One source said: "He paid her guilt money."

According to documents filed on May 22 and obtained by the website, Rupert gave Liberty his share of their $2 million Hollywood Hills home, and she "made out very well" when their other assets were divided.

The 35 year old star- who starred alongside Kristen in 'Snow White and the Huntsman', which was directed by Rupert - previously admitted she was devastated when she learned about the affair.

"I have no words to describe what we went through. But I think, for me, something always has to completely die for there to be a rebirth. And, for me, I feel like I'm going through a rebirth. It was horrible. It was really the worst, really the worst."

Liberty - who has two children, son Tennyson and daughter Skyla, with the director - found it difficult to end her marriage but felt she "didn't have any more to give".

The actress - who filed for divorce in January 2013 - explained: "I'm not a quitter. I've done everything I could to be the perfect wife and mother and really support my husband. But I didn't have any more to give, you know?"
