The 50-year-old actress starred alongside the American comedian - who has been accused by more than 50 women of sexually abuse - on 'The Cosby Show' for almost a decade.

Although she never witnessed or knew of any inappropriate behaviour, she felt that Cosby gave off a certain vibe.

Lisa - who played the part of Denise Huxtable on the NBC show alongside her on-screen dad Bill as Dr. Cliff Huxtable - said: "There was no knowledge on my part about [Bill Cosby's] specific actions, but ... There was just energy. And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed."

The star is adamant that if she ever suspected Bill of doing anything untoward or criminal then she would have shared that information with the appropriate authorities.

She told Net-a-Porter magazine: "If I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. That's my nature. The truth will set you free."

Lisa doesn't wish to get involved in the allegations, but added that she hopes that the truth - whatever it is - eventually comes to light and that justice is served.

She reflected: "I don't need to say 'I told you so' [about Bill Cosby]. I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be."
