The couple's 14-month marriage has been the hot topic of conversation of late but the brunette beauty, who has been away shooting for a few months, has admitted their romance is very much on track and they try to devote one night a week to one another.
Michelle explained: "I think it's really important. When I was down south we'd have one once a week, whereas now I'm in Manchester and he can work at weekends, we don't see each other as often as I'd like. But when we do see each other, we always do something."
And, although the pair love to bond over delicious meals, they also thoroughly enjoy slouching around in their joggers eating greasy grub.
The 29-year-old actress told LOOK magazine: "We go for a nice dinner where we can get dressed up, or we go to the cinema and just pig out on food and wear tracksuits and it's comfy, or we'll have a DVD night ... I have to plan.
"Mark's always looking at his diary and I'm looking at on WhatsApp trying to arrange their time. There are so many messages! I'm always saying to him: 'What you doing next Wednesday at four?' "
However, when all the craziness of her prospering career finally comes to a momentary stand-still, Michelle intends to go on a romantic getaway with the former 'The Only Way is Essex' star.
She said: "I'm definitely going away with Mark and we're going to have a nice relaxing holiday. We've both been so busy recently, so it will be nice to get away."
