Miley Cyrus wants father, Billy Ray Cyrus, to attend therapy with her to repair their broken relationship after he filed divorce from Miley's mother Tish earlier this year.
The 20-year-old was left distraught after Billy Ray split with her mother, Tish, and although the pair have now reconciled, Miley wants to seek professional assistance to help work through her issues with her dad.
A source told Star magazine: "Just because her mom has taken him back doesn't mean that all is cool with Miley. It was her idea to enter counselling and Billy agreed.
"Miley has always been Daddy's little girl and she wants to be able to love him like that again."
The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker recently hit out at Billy via Twitter, demanding that he "tell the truth" before she does, when she hadn't been able to contact him via phone.
She tweeted: "@billyraycyrus since you won't reply to my texts I'm giving you an hour to tell the truth or ill tell it for you (sic)."
Miley also attached an image of herself with an unknown woman with the tweet, but she deleted the post just minutes later.
Four minutes after the explosive tweet had been erased, Miley wrote: "Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray! (sic)"
