Rusty Edward Sellner, who was arrested for breaking into the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker's Los Angeles home in Toluca Lake in December and pled no contest to one count of first degree residential burglary, was placed behind bars after appearing in court in Los Angeles today (20.05.15).

The 22-year-old culprit stole a large amount of personal property from the 22-year-old star's home, including her bank card, as well as items belonging to her brother.

The judge gave him credit for the 270 days he has already served, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

Another hearing has been scheduled to determine how much restitution Sellner must pay Miley for the stolen property.

The 'We Can't Stop' hitmaker, who recently purchased a new house in Hidden Hills, previously had her $102,000 Maserati Quattroporte and jewellery items stolen from her home in May 2014.

The blonde beauty was also left "extremely upset" when robbers entered her home in November 2013 on the weekend she turned 21, stealing "a lot of personal items".
