The 'Wrecking Ball' singer is said to have bought the home after it was revealed in January that her parents, Tish Cyrus, 48, and Billy Ray Cyrus, 53, put their home up for sale for $5.6 million.

TMZ online reported that the 'Party In The USA' hitmaker was looking for security, following 3 break-ins at her home in Toluca Lake, within a year of living there.

According to the Woodbridge Group - who previously owned the country home for $4,037,000 - they were to demolish the vineyard and ranch that comes with 6,500-square-foot of land, seven bedrooms and panoramic views of the vines from all its windows.

The group told New York's Page Six online: "We bought it with the intention of ripping it down and building a 10- to 15,000-square-foot mansion there."

The house is also surrounded by paddocks, 10 barns, a chicken hutch with a henhouse and 550 grapevines.

The 22-year-old bought the home through her Sunshine Girl Trust and will find herself with A-List neighbours, including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, The Osbournes and many more.

The listings company have declined to comment.
