The 33-year-old singer-songwriter walked away with the Album of the Year prize for 'The Weight of These Wings', as well as the Female Vocalist of the Year award.

MIranda - whose album was inspired by her divorce from Blake Shelton - thanked her fans "for letting me use my heartbreak and sharing it with me".

The blonde beauty was joined on stage by producers Eric Masse, Glenn Worf and Frank Liddell, who praised the singer for articulating her heartbreak through her music.

Frank said: "In the day and age of sound bites, I just want to thank Miranda for being willing to look deep in her soul and bringing her life into her heart."

Miranda, who is currently dating musician Anderson East, previously said she's never held anything back in her music.

She shared: "Every record I've ever made has been a reflection of where I am right then in my life, however old I am. And I've never held back at all.

"But this time, with what I happened to be going through in my life, being honest was never really a choice. Everybody knew anyway. So I just said, I'm gonna journal it, and - good days and bad days - use it for my art."

Meanwhile, Brothers Osborne - the American country music duo composed of brothers T.J. and John Osborne - won two awards in Las Vegas, including Vocal Duo of the Year and New Vocal Duo Or Group of the Year.
