Naomi Campbell doesn't care about what people think about her.

The infamous supermodel - who has been banned from flying with British Airways and faced several assault allegations in the past - isn't fazed by the public perception of her as an intimidating diva and has no desire to change people's opinions, even if they are wrong.

Asked whether she wanted to star in a film of her life in an interview with Stylist magazine, Naomi said: "Unless I was involved they would never get it right. I have never justified what people say about me; it's all assumption. They would need me to been involved to get it right and I don't think I would ever want to do that, but I respect what's been in my life.

Probed about the possibility of an autobiography, she added: "I don't care about setting the record straight. People's opinions are people's opinions. You can't change them."

The statuesque beauty - who has been on the cover of magazines over 500 times - insists she doesn't deserve her difficult reputation because all the fashion greats and top publications enjoy working with her.

Naomi said: "It was put out there by my ex model agent ... God rest his soul... but if I was so difficult, why would I be working with the same people I have worked with since I was 16."

The 43-year-old star admitted she had experienced something of an attitude change in the past year and vowed to focus on herself rather than on material things.

She explained: "I'm not really materialistic. I have come to realise this particular year that things are things and half the things I have I don't need, and the most important thing is you and how you feel. How you deal with your life on a daily basis and how you deal with people who are in your life."
