Naomi Campbell Had 'The Best Birthday in the World' in Cannes

Naomi Campbell had "the best birthday in the world", as she threw a huge party in Cannes to celebrate turning 45 on Saturday night (23.05.15).

Guests - including actor Leonardo DiCaprio, model Gigi Hadid and reality TV star Kendall Jenner - were helicoptered from Cannes into the Chateau Saint Jeannet - the 15-bedroom castle, just outside Nice, France, that the supermodel hired out for the do - and inside they found two walls of red roses, a swimming pool filled with huge silver baubles and a vast selection of magazine covers featuring the birthday girl herself.

Mary J Blige was booked to perform for guests at the event, as a long-time friend of Naomi.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, after singing 'Happy Birthday' to her friend, the 44-year-old 'No More Drama' hitmaker said: "You are one of the most beautiful women to walk the earth, and I am honoured to be your friend and know you."

Naomi was presented with a raspberry and blackberry cake, while guests were treated to unlimited Jacquart champagne.

Yesterday, the former 'The Face' judge took to Instagram to thank her friends who made the party happen.

Along with a picture of her wearing a silver Versace gown in front of a wall of magazine covers featuring herself, Naomi wrote: "#BestBirthday in the world . Thank you all who made it happen . #Greatfull #Blest (sic)."
