The emotion-filled track, which was penned by bandmate Shaznay Lewis, came to fruition after Liam rang Nicole to admit he had fathered a child with journalist Liza Ghorbani - and the 42-year-old singer has claimed Liam is likely to be a fan of the track.

Asked if the song proved to be a form of therapy, Nicole said: "It wasn't therapy at all. It was a bad situation and I was calling her. That was real life, real emotions and she was getting it raw."

Nicole - whose six-year marriage to Liam ended in 2014 after he admitted to being unfaithful - said her ex-husband is likely to be a fan of the single, even though it refers to his "poisoned tongue".

She told The Times newspaper: "He's curious. He probably loves it."

Liam, who has a 15-year-old son with Nicole, recently admitted to "hurting a lot of people" when he fathered a child with Liza.

He said: "The stuff that happened was my own doing. S**t happens, and I apologise. I've hurt a lot of people, but that's life."

Meanwhile, Liam also confessed that his long-running feud with his brother Noel upsets their beloved mother Peggy.

He previously said: "The olive branch has been put out many times, and he's blanked it. It's a shame we can't bury the hatchet, but it's not like I'm messing with the brakes on his car, or he's putting my windows through. It's just banter, isn't it, until one of us grows up.

"It is a shame. I don't see his kids, he doesn't see my kids, and it hurts my mum, and all that tackle. It's all very childish and ridiculous, but there you go. I'm quite enjoying it, actually."
