The former Oasis guitarist reckons his children have a "f****** amazing childhood" and he wants them to be "smart intelligent guys" not" scruffy oiks from a council estate".

The 'Some Might Say' hitmaker - who has daughter Anaïs Gallagher, 15, with ex-wife Meg Matthews and sons, Sonny Patrick MacDonald Gallagher, 3, and Donovan Rory MacDonald, 6, with wife Sara MacDonald - said: "My kids have got a f***ing amazing childhood. I want them to be smart intelligent guys. I don't want them to be scruffy oiks from a council estate. I don't want them to be like me. I want to be the only me in my house and I want them to be them."

The 48-year-old rocker - who grew up on a council estate in Manchester - doesn't want to stop them from having "private school, nice clothes, holidays, cars and all that s***".

He told the Mirror newspaper: "Just because I didn't have any f***ing money to speak of until I was 26, I'm not going to deny them private school, nice clothes, holidays, cars and all that s***. I would have to be a f***ing a***hole to toughen the kids up and all that."
