Noomi Rapace has insisted she'll never get a tattoo because she has fears she'd "go crazy" and ink her entire body.
The actress - star of Girl With A Dragon Tattoo - reckons she would end up completely covered in body art if she ever got just one inking, but admits that once she did try to tattoo herself, with it ending in disaster and "disappearing" after a month.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper she explained: "I know if I started, I would go crazy. I would end up covered top to toe. I never do things the middle way.
"I tried to tattoo myself a couple of times. It just started to bleed a lot.
"It was black and red and a mess, and then it disappeared about a month later. So no, I don't have any."
The actress also admitted she feels like "a loser" when she's not working, and so doesn't do things by halfs when she picks up a job, loving her time on movie sets.
"For me, work and life go together. I had 10 days off this summer but I spent the time coming up with two ideas for films that are being written now.
"I think my brain is just wired to work.
"My heart is wherever I am - I've always been like that - and to be in the room with another actor, that's magic and pure joy for me.
"I always do things 100 per cent."
