The 31-year-old singer wants to team up with the Take That star, his former band mate and the 'Home' hitmaker and create a group that will challenge the legendary sixties swingers, which included Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he said: "I want to do a swing album. Obviously Robbie and Michael Bublé have done them successfully. But I was thinking of doing a two-disc album where I did old songs, but on the second album I cover top hits from the last 20 years.

"I was thinking that me, Robbie, maybe Gary Barlow, Bublé, we could do a Rat Pack-style show at the Royal Albert Hall. We'll do our own songs, covers, it could be really fun."

And, although Olly is keen to go down the swing route, he is determined his next album will be "sexier" following his split from his girlfriend Francesca Thomas in September.

He said: "My music's been cheeky but I've not been as cheeky as I've wanted to because my team wouldn't let me.

"But now, after losing weight and becoming single again, I can express myself a bit more."
