Pamela Anderson has been left devastated by the death of her dog Jo.
The former Baywatch beauty has paid tribute to her ‘sweet’ pet after he passed away earlier today.
Pamela who has sons Brandon, 18, and Dylan, 17, with ex-husband Tommy Lee, did not give any details on the exact cause of death.
Pamela was often spotted taking Jo for walks near her home and is a notable animal lover, working on behalf of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to help ensure pets are properly cared for by their owners.
Writing on her Facebook page, the 47-year-old said: "Our sweet Jo passed away today... He still feels close... even closer somehow.. (sic)"
She added: "Relentless love - will never leave our hearts. He taught us so much."
In a PETA video posted earlier this year, Pamela stripped to music and prepared to cuddle up next to what the audience is led to believe is a man, but is, in fact, her mutt.
Pamela posted the video on Valentine's Day (14.02.14) as a means of raising awareness of the issue.
