The 17-year-old star, who is the daughter of the late Michael Jackson and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, "has never been happier" after recently confirming she is dating the 18-year-old soccer player.
A source said: "She's smitten with Chester. It's adorable. She has never been happier."
Paris sought extended medical treatment in 2013 after she allegedly attempted suicide, but her life is now back on track.
The insider added: "She's in the best place of her life right now."
Chester, who is from a wealthy Beverly Hills family, has won the seal of approval from Paris' protective family, including her grandmother and guardian Katherine Jackson.
The source added to US OK! magazine: "The whole family is happy for her. Chester passed all their tests, and they totally approve."
Paris met Chester through mutual friends after she recently moved home to Los Angeles after spending a year away at a private boarding school in Utah. The duo were first spotted hiking together last month.
