Pauly D wants to judge to grant him regular access to his daughter.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star, who recently discovered he fathered a baby girl, Amabella, in May, following a fling with her mother, Amanda Markert, in Las Vegas last year, allegedly isn't convinced that the former VIP hostess is a fit mother.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 33-year-old DJ and the 25-year-old waitress, who once worked in Hooters, have both filed legal documents in a bid to exercise their rights, and relations between them are said to be increasingly strained.
Amanda, who also has another child from a previous relationship, is seeking child support.
Meanwhile, Pauly wants to establish a custody agreement, although it is not yet known what level of guardianship he wants.
A source said that he has yet to meet his five-month-old daughter but is eager to change that.
The former reality TV star previously insisted he is ready to take responsibility for Amabella after a paternity test proved she was his daughter.
But a friend said he now feels like Amanda is treating their baby like a winning lottery ticket.
