The 'Lullaby' hitmaker and the former 'Made In Chelsea' star confirmed at the weekend they have ended their relationship after less than two and a half years of marriage and it has now been claimed the rapper - whose real name is Stephen Manderson - and his estranged spouse had a series of "explosive" rows over her being reluctant to start a family.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kids became a big problem. Millie didn't want them any time soon and he did.

"It's really sad for Stephen because he's a lovely and sensitive guy who will make a great dad one day. They loved each other but would have these crazy explosive rows."

The former couple revealed in a statement at the weekend they had "mutually" decided to end their marriage and will remain on "amicable" terms.

They said: "It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation.

"It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known that it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well."

A source added of the pair: "It's extremely sad that Millie and Stephen have decided to part ways, but they have managed to remain on the best of terms throughout their split and they are hopeful they will continue to do so."

The news comes only weeks after Professor Green admitted he had only seen his 26-year-old wife once since the beginning of the year.

He admitted: "I've only seen Millie once this year ... It was the first time I had seen her properly in 30 days. We had seen each other like ships in the night, but we weren't getting any quality time together.

"It is good sometimes to have space, but it is also difficult when you miss someone for that long."
