The former 'View' presenter reported Chelsea O'Donnell missing in August 2015, but the teenager was found with her 25-year-old boyfriend Steven Sheerer hours later, and then went to live with his family in New Jersey and later claimed her famous mother had thrown her out of home.

However, despite their difficulties, it seems mother and daughter are now putting the past behind them as they posed for a selfie, which Rosie shared on her Instagram account.

The 54-year-old star added the caption: "chelsea and me - what a difference a year makes #hopelives.(sic)"

Chelsea previously insisted her adoptive mother had ordered her to leave the family home on August 11, 2015, two weeks before she turned 18.

She said: "She told me to leave and take my dog.

"Rosie said that I was almost 18, and she got all this c**p from work, and she didn't want to have to deal with that at home too.

"Rosie knew I was planning to leave, that's why I think she kicked me out.

"She asked me to talk about what was going on and I didn't want to. So she asked for my phone and my computer. I gave them to her. A few hours later, she told me to leave. I wasn't planning to go until I turned 18 on the 24th."

After being picked up by "nice" police at the New Jersey home of her boyfriend and returned to Rosie's house, Chelsea claimed there wasn't a happy reunion waiting for her.

She previously said: "She had two of my bags packed with clothes. Literally 10 minutes after the police had dropped me off at the house, I got in a car and went to a friend's house"
