Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' relationship is allegedly on the rocks due in part to Eva being jealous and Ryan wanting to start a family.
The couple, who have been dating for two years after meeting on the set of 'The Place Beyond of The Pines are reportedly going through a rough patch and friends predict they may soon split up for good.
The couples relationship hasn't been going well since they took a brief break six months ago to decide their future together.
A friend of the couple was quoted as saying: "He can be moody, and she's insecure. She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he's talking to other girls. I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon."
Another source said that Eva refuses to discuss their issues with any of her friends, saying: "She shuts down anyone who brings up Ryan. It's clear something is wrong."
It was recently reported that Ryan's desire to settle down and start a family is the main source of their woes.
A source told ShowbizSpy.com: "Ryan's friends know he is ready to settle down, 100 percent. Eva loves Ryan, but she's very non-traditional when it comes to what she wants. She's phobic about commitment. That's the root of the problem."
