Sandra Bullock says being a parent has given her another childhood.

The 'Our Brand is Crisis' actress admits welcoming her adopted son Louis, now five, into her life has been a "game changer" and things have take on a new importance.

She said: "I see life from his perspective and you have a childhood. You have a childhood, no matter what kind you had, you have a child and I go guess what? This is the chance to have a childhood and remember it and be conscious in it and just enjoy it.

"He makes me do stuff I wouldn't normally do and life becomes very important on a different level. My choices, what I do, I could fool around before but not now. It's a game changer."

And the 50-year-old star admitted raising Louis has made her more conscious of the passing of time.

Speaking on the 'Today' show, she added: "And life goes so fast! I see the ticking clock and I'm like, 'It's so fast!' "

Sandra also admitted she finds it hard being away from her little boy.

She said: "He's at home and not here and it's really hard. He's a beautiful soul."

While she was happy to speak about her son, the 'Minions' star remained coy about the other male in her life, new boyfriend Bryan Randall.

Asked about the hunk she had been spotted with, she laughed and said: "I don't know what you're talking about."
