The 42-year-old actress appears alongside a star-studded cast that includes the likes of Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett and Rihanna in the much-anticipated new movie, and Sarah has revealed she's good friends with the girls off camera, too.

Speaking to The Edit, she shared: "I'm not going to lie, it is a very cool chain to be part of.

"We can go weeks without a chirp, then someone sends one message, and it's like - 'brp, brp, brp' - your phone just blows up for hours."

Meanwhile, the acclaimed actress recently revealed she was told to hide her relationship with Holland Taylor for the sake of her career.

The 'American Horror Story' star went public with her romance with the 74-year-old actress in March 2016, but admitted she had been warned it would have a "negative" effect on her career.

Sarah explained: "Early on, when people found out I was with Holland, some said: 'I think you have to be careful, I'm afraid it's going to affect your career negatively'. I was like, what? It never occurred to me at all."

Sarah claimed her relationship is the "least interesting" thing about her, but she always finds people are "fascinated" by their romance.

She shared: "My life choices are, um, unconventional.

"I'm with a much older person, and people find that totally fascinating and odd, and to me, it's the least interesting thing about me."

And when Sarah accepted her Best Actress Emmy award in January this year, she had a fleeting moment of "societal concern" when she questioned her intention to tell Holland she loved her in her speech.

She reflected: "It occurred to me, should I not do that? And then I thought, why would I not?

"The fact I'm having this thought is wrong. But I had a moment of societal concern; wondering if, maybe, people who didn't know that about me would be like, wait, what? But then, you know, I did it anyway."
